Columbia SC- Cohn Construction Services, LLC proudly announces the arrival of the company’s business offices to their new and awaited Vista address. From here forward 912 Lady Street, 2^nd Floor (in Columbia’s historic Vista district) is home to the sixteen-year-old construction company’s sales and business headquarters and center of operations.

Cohn Construction Services (previously located in Forum Business Park, Northeast Columbia) has taken up residence inside the historic, turn-of-the-century Lady Street building that it now shares with local businesses such as LTC & Associates and City Art Gallery. After 5 months of renovations and modernization work at the site, the newly finished Cohn Construction Services offices are officially open for business.

Chairman- Richard H. Cohn Sr. and his son and Company President- Richard H. Cohn, Jr, along with the Cohn Construction Services workforce are delighted by their move to the Vista. “ We couldn’t be happier with how the building turned out and we have felt very welcomed by the Vista community,” said Cohn Sr. “We greatly enjoy the buzz and the atmosphere downtown and the move has enabled us to be more accessible to all of the people we work with on a daily basis.”

It had been part of Cohn Construction Services long-term plan to move their business offices closer to downtown Columbia. Acquiring a spot inside a Vista building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in South Carolina apparently made a quick move to the city’s center more appealing. “We looked at several other buildings but chose Lady Street because it had the most personality,” Cohn Sr. said.

For this project Cohn Construction Services teamed up with LTC & Associates Architects for design and Tim Mclendon for decorating the building’s interiors. The finished product features cutting-edge design and technology and all the latest innovation; met with original and restored hard-wood flooring, overhead beams, wooden columns and exposed brick-walls that all date back to the building’s initial inception. The company was interested in keeping the old building’s character intact while installing the latest gadgets and appliances and satisfying their penchant for contemporary, industrial design.
